Registration is now open for the 5th Annual West Virginia Urban Agriculture Conference. We will now be on the campus of West Virginia State University in Institute, just outside of Charleston, May 11 and 12. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our existing registrants. If you have already registered and can still join us on the new dates, GREAT! You don’t need to do a thing. If you would like to cancel an existing registration, please email us.

We’re back with a bigger conference than ever before! Chicken Stu, our official conference spokes-chicken, has set his sights on the big screen, starring in a series of  videos based on the fifth films of a variety of popular movie franchises. Not only that, we’ll also be hosting a special movie screening featuring a West Virginia farmer.

NEW FOR 2018:

Film Screening: This year, we’ll be screening the new documentary film “Farmers for America.”

Exciting New and Returning Session Topics: We’ve got a packed schedule of exciting new session topics, as well as some returning favorites. Topics include hydroponics, soil health, specialty crops, butchering, composting, home brewing and MUCH more.

JMG Teacher Training: On Saturday, we’ll host a special training for teachers on the international youth agriculture curriculum Junior Master Gardener. A limited number of scholarships are available for the JMG training. See the Schedule page for details.
